The calculator

The calculator runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you type are not sent to us or stored.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies, doesn't use local storage and doesn't fingerprint you or follow you across sites. It gives us aggregate counts of page views, referring sites, countries and device types. Cloudflare also hosts the site and, like any web host, processes your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (running a secure site and knowing which pages are useful).

Newsletter and free pages

If you sign up, we store your email address, the time you signed up and confirmed, and the language you chose. We only add you after you click the link in our confirmation email (double opt-in). We send one email a month about van electrics, plus the free pages you asked for. We use Kit (Kit.com) to store your address and send the emails; Kit processes the data for us under its data processing agreement and stores it in the United States under the safeguards that agreement describes. Kit may record whether an email was opened or a link clicked; we use this only in aggregate. Lawful basis: your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email. We then delete your address, keeping only what's needed to make sure you aren't emailed again.

Buying on Etsy

Our guide and planners are sold on Etsy. If you buy one, Etsy processes your order and payment under its own privacy policy, and we receive the order details Etsy shares with sellers (such as your name and what you bought). We keep order records for 6 years for tax purposes. Lawful basis: contract and legal obligation.

Links to other sites

Links to Etsy and other sites take you to services with their own privacy policies and cookies. This site has no advertising or affiliate links.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to processing, or for a copy of it, by emailing henrywc.business@gmail.com. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, buy email lists, or use advertising or tracking cookies.
